Our goal is to ensure Fur Babies are never to have to return to the “orphanages” from which they came (which is extremely stressful for the adoptees), because the Pet Parents and Pet Siblings were not aware of the commitments of being Pet Parents and Pet Siblings.
By partnering with Pet Care Basics 101 the potential Pet Parents and Pet Siblings learn the ins and outs of caring for their Fur Babies, establishing proper expectations prior to signing adoption papers.
Educated and Responsible Pet Parents and Pet Siblings mean less returns for “orphanages” and a better quality of Life for the Fur Baby. We want to partner with rescues, shelters, adoption agencies and breeders to set new standards for the adoption process. Together, we can make sure Fur Babies not only find furever homes but are well cared for and live long, happy, lives.

Our goal is to ensure fur babies are never to have to return to the “orphanages” from which they came (which is extremely stressful for the adoptees), because the Pet Parents were not aware of the commitments of being Pet Parents. In partnering with Pet Care Basics 101 the Parents learn the ins and outs of caring for their fur babies, establishing proper expectations prior to signing adoption papers. Informed Pet Parents mean less returns for adoption agencies and a better quality of life for the pet. We want to partner with rescues, shelters, and adoption agencies to set new standards for the adoption process. Together, we can make sure pets not only find forever homes but are well cared for and live long, happy, lives.

With a lot of the Fur Babies being returned to shelters and rescues due to Covid restrictions of working at home, there are also a lot of these Fur Babies abandoned, dumped and abused. I see that this situation is exasperated by the lack of education prior to people adopting a Fur Baby. These Precious Lives have feelings, know when you are abusing them and have no voice to tell you to STOP hurting them. Now they do. I decided the Fur Babies need a voice before people become Pet Parents and Pet Siblings.
